Wanderers Rugby Community
The Wanderers Rugby Community was established in 2008 to look after the interests of nonplayering members which are primarily made up of supporters and past players. Through the establishment of an annual membership fee, the WRC are able to help financially with operational functions, assisting juniors to reach their higher level aspirations through a grants program for representative duties and even as mentors to players and members of the Wanderers community. The WRC sees this as a firm commitment to the future.
As a former player, the Wanderers Rugby Community is a great way to stay engaged with the Club wherever you are in the world, and the annual Back to Wanderers lunch is an ever sought after ticket every year. Wanderers are famous for their “old boys” network not only around the area but around the world and the WRC is a major reason for its great success.
The WRC also has an excellent success rate in helping the club place young and new players in employment opportunities.
*it is important to note that the WRC along with WRFC do not make payment to any players.
